A new site typically takes 3-6 months before it starts to see search engine rankings on Google. Google likes to put new sites in their 'sandbox' while it makes up its mind about a new site for quite sometime.
I purchased YourTechnologyDirector.co.uk less than 2 months, on the 21st Sep 2022 and the site is not just starting to appear on search engine results but already 11th on Google Search for the term 'Freelance Technology Director'.
